UAP National President invites members to attend the 6th Philippine Professional Summit

The Office of the National President issued Memorandum Circular encouraing all UAP members to attend and participate in the forthcoming 6th Philippine Professional Summit with CPD units which will be held on October 25-26, 2017 at the Manila Hotel, Manila, as part of the celebration of the “Philippine Professionals Competitive Week”.

With the theme "The Glocal Filipino Professionals: Responding to the Philippine Aspirations and International Development with Malasakit at Pagbabago", the objective of the said summit are to appreciate better the Philippine Development Plan 2017-2022 relative to the hard and soft infrastructure programs and projects of the Duterte administration in the context of the Philippine Competitiveness in the Region and the rest of the world; to be apprised with the trends and developments of the "infrastructure" in the international arena and their implications to the local Filipino professionals; to gain insights on the interaction between the hard (physical networks) and the sfot (institutions, helath, cultural, education, financial systems and the like) infrastructures; to assess the quality of and harness the "pool of Filipino professionals" needed to deliver or implement successfully the "infrastructure" programs and projects; and to assisst in their successful implemenation through public-private partnership.

Supportive of the President's thrust on "Malasakit at Pagbabago" and in recognition of the interconnected nature of efforts, glocal Filipino professionals are challenged to harness the full range of their collective and creative competencies, thus this summit is a vital venue to discuss and collaborate on how to help deliver the "infrastructure" programs of the administration woven in the "AmBisyon Natin 2040" and contribute to the realization of the ASEAN Economic Community goals.
