The United Architects of the Philippines is mourning the untimely death of past UAP National President, Arch. Guillermo H. Hisancha, FUAP, and immediately on Saturday, October 24, the UAP offered its deepest condolences to the family of Architect Hisancha.

Upon the order of UAP National President Arch. Renato A. Heray, FUAP, the UAP flag is displayed at half-mast today as a mark of UAP's respect for Architect Hisancha, and to be flown at half-staff until his interment.

In his message, Architect Heray said that "It is with deep sadness to know the unexpected and untimely passing of our beloved Past National President, Architect Guillermo H. Hisancha, but we are so grateful for everything he had given us. My National President, Architect Guillermo H. Hisancha whom I served as his Secretary-General, for two FY's, was an exceptional leader. He led with vision, competence and compassion. While his death saddens his family and the UAP community, may we take consolation in the knowledge that he is enjoying, the full presence of God in whom he firmly believed".
