PRC waives accreditation fee for online trainings, programs offered for free during covid19 crisis

THE Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recently issued Resolution No. 1248, s. 2020 waiving the accreditation fee for online trainings and programs offered for free and accepting applications of CPD providers who offered or started to offer their online trainings and programs during the State of Public Health Emergency due to COVID-19 crisis.

Acting on the recommendation of the PRC Continuing Professional Development-Program Management Committee (CPD-PMC), the PRC approved to: 1) To waive the prescribed accreditation fee for providers who will offer their online trainings and programs for free to their participants during the State of Public Health Emergency due to COVID-19 crisis. They need to indicate in their application form that no registration fee for participants will be collected. 2) To accept the applications of CPD providers who offered or started to offer their online trainings and programs within the period of March 16, 2020 until the Community Quarantine is lifted for post accreditation, the CPD providers shall follow the process for accreditation of program, however, they need to submit the completion report and attendance sheet of the participants, within fifteen (15) working days from the effectivity of this Resolution.
