The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) named Architect Daniel C. Go as Outstanding Architect of the Year 2020.

The Outstanding Professional of the Year award is the highest award bestowed by the Commission upon a professional for having sufficiently demonstrated professional competence of the highest degree, conducted herself with integrity in the exercise of her profession, and significantly contributed to the advancement of the profession and to the effective discharge of the profession’s social responsibility through meaningful participation in socio-related activities.

Architect Daniel C. Go takes pride in his team’s abilities and achievements. Being the principal architect and the most experienced among the group, he does his best to become a good mentor for the others. He tries to pass on and instill his passion for work to the team because he firmly believes that in everything we do, we should always aim for excellence and the only way to create something excellent is to love creating.

Architect Daniel C. Go is probably most recognized for being meticulous with details, not only in his designs but in all aspects of architecture such as specifications and construction. His passion for details transcends in his work and his staff, with all the members of his team adapting his philosophy in paying attention to the smallest details. This has led him to where he is now in his career and has set him apart from the rest. He is possibly one of the most recognized architects in the industry because of his persistence for excellence. His projects and the people he has interacted with can attest to his sincere love for what he is doing.

Architect Daniel C. Go graduated Cum Laude from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila in 1989 and trained under one of the top architects of the Philippines. In 1996, he established his own firm, Daniel C. Go and Associates, and distinguished himself as an up and coming architect with various projects all over the country. In 2006, at the age of 40, he was conferred as a Fellow, in the field of Design, of the United Architects of the Philippines, a prestigious honor only a few have received at such an early point in their career. In 2008, with larger projects and challenges being laid at his table and to widen his scope and vision, he established ADGO Architecture and Designs Inc., a full service design corporation that caters to complex projects for multi-national developers and clients. The corporation gives the firm’s senior architects the opportunity to become part of the management team and also gives Architect Daniel C. Go the opportunity to impart his knowledge and experiences to younger members of his firm. In the same year, he was conferred as an APEC Architects from the Philippines.

Of course, Architect Daniel C. Go is not just about architecture. He has a wide scope of interests and hobbies as well. He is a multi-tasking businessman, managing and operating a printing and packaging company together with his wife. He also has a passion for classic car restoration. As a way of unwinding, Daniel can be seen teeing-off on the green with his friends. But more importantly, Architect Daniel C. Go is a dedicated family man, spending leisure time with his wife and four kids.
