National Conference of Architects 2019 a huge success

The UAP National Conference of Architects 2019, which took place in the beautiful and safe City of Koronadal, South Cotabato, last October 18-19, 2019, was a huge success.

More than 500 delegates from 171 chapters nationwide and abroad joined this year's conference to gain valuable insights about the profession and the host city.

The 2-day event comprised of lectures, workshops, and discussions on several issues concerning the organization and the profession. 

It may be recalled that a few years ago, the mid-year conference of architects held every October was scrapped for some time. In lieu of it, an Architects Area Assembly was held every January or February. There where four area assemblies every fiscal year representing four Areas under the UAP. As the organization grew by leaps and bounds, the membership had to be updated and upgraded in terms of professional developments. This was the reason why Joint Area Assemblies (JAA) were held every October.
