The odds have not been easy for this District the last fiscal year but we are determined to pick up the pieces and beat the odds. We are standing tall and proud despite our defeat and we are determined and we are B4. This Fiscal Year, we will try be more, give more and do more.
In the simplest of forms, this District takes center stage and introduce its council chapters with great words and gratitude. With our reluctant leader ringing the gavel and accepting the challenges this district was forced to reckon with, having greater hopes of building anew to relive the once glory days of UAP B4, winning the heart of this council, nothing can go wrong. The pledge of support and co-operation from all Chapters would translate to better leadership and therefore better B4. On to a great start, the District looks up with pronounced anticipation of a better, brighter B4 in the coming years.
UAP QUEZON PROVINCE CHAPTER: ONE AMONG THE BRIGHTEST AND THE OLDEST.
UAP Quezon Province is indeed one of the brightest and the oldest Chapters in the history of UAP. Chartered shortly after UAP National, this Chapter has been in the forefront of the organization for as long as UAP can recall. In this day and age of congested traffic, Quezon which used to be a quick drive from the Metro has now been a challenge to drive to. However, this chapter holds no bar and would brave traffic and long drives to connect and reconnect; so are their guests and well-wishers who brave travel.
ADHIKA: THE UAP SAN PABLO CHAPTER INDUCTIONS.
We are one with you now more than ever as we all share the same objective and that is to serve and promote the profession. The UAP National President, coming from his first Executive Committee meeting at the UAP headquarters braved traffic to celebrate with this Chapter. As any induction, the event was adorned by good company, great food and lots of goodies to take home for the guests. Joining the induction of one of the oldest Chapter in the United Architects of the Philippines is and will always be an honor for any person who chooses to grace the event.
UAP LAGUNA CHAPTER: GLITTERS AND SPARKLES IN A SILVER MILESTONE.
UAP Laguna Chapter have pushed back this year’s Chapter Induction to a much later date so as to hit two (2) events in one (1) splendid affair. Polished, tailored and fabulous people in this glorious celebration of 25 marvelous years for this brilliant Chapter. The journey must not have been a bed of roses and the hurdles certainly were factual but then again, seeing them emerge with sparkle brings inspiration to the younger class of Chapters.
UAP BATANGAS CHAPTER: THE MAIN EVENT AND THE GRANDEST BY FAR.
UAP Batangas Chapter, the biggest chapter amongst the RDB4, have yet staged their signature Event of the Year Annual Induction. Chapter President Michelle Quinto-Abiera have marked the highest delegation by far and the grandest induction ever recorded in the history of B4. Starting with a big bang, we are excited to see more of the programs from this Chapter. The UAP Batangas Chapter continues to grow in tremendous number each year. Continuing at this pace, it is no surprise if in time its roster of members will surpass most of the provincial chapters including Quezon and Cavite.
THE BEAUTIFUL PALAWAN… CHAPTER.
This vibrant and energetic chapter led by its new equally vibrant and cheerful Chapter President Elwright Cabigen is gearing towards a brighter UAP Palawan Chapter. Over the last two (2) decades this Chapter have beaten the odds of being in an island far away from other Chapters and its own Regional District. This era of cheaper flights and piso fares will surely pave the way take this Chapter and other B4 Chapters to an easier travel to reconnect with the District. Looking forward to a cheerful and upbeat UAP Palawan Chapter and UAP District B4.
MINDORENO ARCHITECTS IN AN ISLAND OF THEIR OWN.
This young Chapter has created a kingdom of their own and has established a name for themselves in so short of a time. The amount of programs and the value they add up to uplift the profession is far way more than what others in their senior have done. The proposed bridge connecting Mindoro Island to Luzon via Batangas Province would bring forth greater achievements for this Chapter.
UAP LIPA CHAPTER’S PAPAR-ON: THE SHORTEST ANNUAL CHAPTER INDUCTION.
UAP Lipa Chapter, since it was chartered last year (March 26) have been known to doing programs that have not been done before. This very simple, hassle free and unorthodox annual induction of officers have proven that simplicity has its rewards and advantages. For starter, their visit coincided as planned, with the monthly UAP Execom meeting which therefore gave them the privilege of having these VIPs in one seating – the only Chapter Induction to have the complete line up of ExeCom this FY. This short but as meaningful Induction of Officers and New Members had even a 2 point CPD as they toured the UAP HQ with speaker and facilitator Jason Aban, Head of UAP Admin. The tour was for most of the delegation from the Chapter who have not once stepped into the UAP HQ (20 out of the 25 have not been to UAP HQ).
UGNAYAN: THE UAP LAKESHORE CHAPTER INDUCTIONS.
The induction proper was preceded by attending the wreath laying ceremony at the Mabini Shrine in Tanauan Batangas. This gave the people who attended the grasp of how Gat Apolinario Mabini became a hero. Later the same day, the Induction proper was held attended by no less than the UAP National President and some distinguished gentlemen and ladies from all over UAP.
Registration starts at March 12, 2018, Monday, 1:00 p.m.
