The Prescribed fees for accreditation are as follows:

Local CPD provider P 5,000.00

Foreign CPD provider P 8,000.00

CPD program per offering P 1,000.00

Self-directed and/or Lifelong Learning per program P 500.00

The CPD Program/s shall be applied 45 days prior to the conduct of the program.

a. Specific course Objectives stating competencies to be gained from program;

b. Evaluation tool specific to course objectives set;

c. Program of Activities showing time/duration of topics/workshop;

d. Resume of Speakers for program applied for, showing expertise in the topic/s; show certificates or citations (if any);

e. Current Prof. ID of speaker if registered professional; if foreigner, current Special Temporary Permit, if applicable; and

f. Breakdown of expenses for the conduct of the program.

A natural or juridical person accredited by the PRCCPD Council of various professions may apply for accreditation of CPD Programs.
The accreditation of CPD Provider is valid for three(3) years.
The period for processing the application is 30 days.

The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) forms can be downloaded from PRC website at www.prc.gov.ph or available at Standards and Inspection Division office or you may visit the UAP website (click here)

a. Individual / Sole Proprietor

i. Résumé must include: relevant Educational background, current employment, profession, valid Professional Identification Card, principal area of professional work & No. of years in the practice of the regulated profession;

ii. Company Profile must include Mission, Vision, Core Values and if any, a list of previous training activities conducted;

iii. List and photographs of training equipment and facilities;

iv. Instructional Design (one)

v. Annual plan of proposed CPD Activities

vi. DTI Certificate of Registration (authenticated copy)

vii. NBI Clearance (original)

viii. BIR Certificate of Registration (authenticated copy)

ix. Notarized Affidavit of Undertaking


 

A natural or juridical person may apply as CPD Provider.

Licensed professionals working overseas may attend trainings / seminars conducted by the foreign chapters or affiliates of accredited CPD Providers. They may also attend trainings / seminars conducted by non-accredited CPD Providers and apply for credit units under Self-Directed Learning and/or Lifelong Learning.
No. The law does not provide any exemption from CPD compliance for the renewal of Professional Identification Card.
Pursuant to Resolution No. 04, s. 2016, of the Professional Regulatory Board of Architects, the following isthe transitory period for the compliance to CUs for Architects


July to December 2017

Minimum required Number of CPD Credit Units

Below 60 years old : 13.5

Between 60 to 69 years old : 10.5

70 years old and above : 7.5

Year 2018

Minimum required Number of CPD Credit Units

Below 60 years old : 27

Between 60 to 69 years old : 21

70 years old and above : 15

Year 2019 and onwards

Minimum required Number of CPD Credit Units

Below 60 years old : 45

Between 60 to 69 years old : 35

70 years old and above : 25

With the exception to the Certified Public Accountants, Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers, Architects with respect to the age, Electrical Engineers, Landscape Architects, Midwives, Nurses, Professional Teachers and Real Estate Service Professionals, among whom are required with a different minimum credit units, the following shall be used as reference for the renewal of Professional Identification Card(PIC) in transitory period.

The implementation of R.A. No. 10912 started on March 15, 2017, upon the effectivity of Resolution No. 1032 or the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of R.A. No. 10912.

The CPD Act Lapsed into Law on July 21, 2016 and it took effect on August 16, 2016.

Republic Act No. 10912, otherwise known as the“Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Act of 2016”, is an act which requires CPD as the mandatory requirement for the renewal of Professional Identification Card.
